Stampers Dozen Blog Hop - Manly May

Hello Stampers!
Thank you for joining us for the "Manly May" Stampers Dozen Blog Hop!  I paired the "Guy Greetings" stamp set from the Occasions Catalog with the Mini Treat Bag thinlits and came up with this card.

After cutting the mini treat bag out of Crumb Cake card stock, I repeatedly stamped the hats with Early Espresso ink. Then I placed a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock on top of the larger piece of the bag and ran it through the Big Shot with the smallest Deco Label Framelit.  I ran the Mossy Meadow card stock alone again with the next bigger Deco Label Framelit.
The 3.5" x 9.5" Very Vanilla was scored at 4.75", folded and placed into the bag. I stamped Happy Birthday through the window in the bag then took the card out to finish stamping some hats on it. A small piece of Mossy Meadow stitched satin ribbon was folded and pierced to accept the antique brad.
I covered the back of the brad on the inside  Mossy Meadow card stock which you can see showing at the bottom of the front of the card.  After stamping the inside sentiment, I replaced the card into the bag and held it closed with a decorative clothespin from the In Color Clothespins.
Here is a photo of the inside of the card. On the back, I used the piece of Mossy Meadow that I cut out with the Deco Label framelits and a stamp from Creatively Yours so the person can know that this card was specially made for him.
Thank you for stopping by! Now, you can go on to Patty Chenail's blog or back to Carol Payne's blog. Whichever direction you go, you are sure to be inspire by these creative women's work.
