I can hardly believe it is time for another blog hop! Time seems to fly...guess that is because I am having so much FUN! With the theme being Congratulations this month, I decided to share a graduation card I made. My inspiration came from the Thank You card on page 46 in the annual catalog. As you can see, I changed the orientation of the card to accommodate the longer "Congrats" sentiment. You, of course, could change the color of the card stock to match the school colors.
Thank you once again for joining our Stampers Dozen Blog Hop!! Click "Next" to go on to Patty Chenail's blog or "Previous" to go to Carol Payne's blog. I consider myself very lucky to be in their company during this hop. They are both exceptionally talented and give great inspiration!! Till next time...
Happy Stampin'!

Now, for those of you with a curious mind...I used the triangle punch but only punched about 1/2 of the entire shape. I had difficulty photographing it. I hope you can see what I mean below.
Then, placed the two triangle pieces together and glued them together onto a 3/8" square as seen below.
Then I pierced the middle so I could add a silver mini brad with the tassel.
The 'hat' part is made by punching a piece of 7/16" (just shy of 1/2") piece of card stock with the 1/2" punch as shown below. Then cut this strip to size so the top piece sits on top of it and looks proportionally "right". To make the tassel, I used a small length of white baker's twine(approx 6"). I unraveled it as shown below and made the tassel which was then attached with the mini brad.
To make the card, I gold embossed the sentiment onto Very Vanilla card stock and used multipurpose glue to adhere the cap part atop the 'g' in Congrats!. I then added the top of the mortarboard with a dimensional. Hopefully, this all makes more sense if you look at the card again...
Here are the supplies that I used to make this card. Feel free to click on the photograph if you would like to order an item.
Goog i will make them like you now
