Stampers Dozen Blog Hop - Birthday Carousel

Images © Stampin' Up!

Hello Stampers!
Thanks for joining our blog hop again this month!! We are all happy to see you! I hope you have had time to peruse your new Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration brochure.  If you have, I suspect your attention was drawn to the lovely Carousel Birthday stamp set.  I know mine was...

I have created a fairly simple card using a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the Sale-a-Bration designer series paper that was cut diagonally.  The carousel horse was heat embossed with gold embossing powder then a few small sections colored with Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder and Night of Navy Stampin' Write Markers.

Below are all the supplies I used to create this card. To purchase, simply click on the icon. REMEMBER: The BIGGEST sale of the year is happening NOW!  During Sale-a-Bration, you get one FREE item from the Sale-a-Bration brochure for each qualifying purchase!!

Easter Message

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3neisvSvXmBdXh4djlvOC0tYWc/view?usp=sharing
 Hello Stampers!
I hope you had a great Christmas and New Years. We sure did!! The Occasions catalog is now live and there are SO many great things to play with!  I have not seen many projects made with the new, FABULOUS Easter set named Easter Message. So, I decided to play with it.  I did several for a swap and each time they came out a little different but every one beautiful.  This is a great way to practice (or teach) water coloring with our Stampin' Up! ink and aqua painters. It only requires a 3" x 4" piece of watercolor paper so, that means THREE per sheet.  Here is a picture up close.
You can see here that I started with the biggest concentration of Rich Razzleberry ink in the lower right corner of the drape and let the water carry the ink up, with a little help from the brush of course.
I like to do the inside of the card as I go along. So, here is my idea for the inside.  The Happy Easter is copper heat embossed.  The palms are stamped with Old Olive and mounted on a slightly larger mat of Old Olive.  I have also made a project sheet for this card that I want to share with you today. Click on the first photo in this email for the tutorial.
Below are the items you will need to complete the project.  If you live in the United States and need any of the products, just click on the icon to order. THANKS!

Celebrate You

Hello Stampers!
Here is one of the very first cards I have made using the "Beautiful You" stamp set available soon in the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog that goes live on January 4th. Sale-a-Bration, Stampin' Up!'s biggest sale of the year, starts at the same time!!
Very few supplies were needed for this card. I did this one using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the figures very close to each other. I did another card without using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. It turned out good too but the figures were a little further apart.
This is a regular size A2 card (finished size 5.5" x 4.25") I stamped all the ladies first with Tuxedo  Black memento ink then stamped all but one dress with Smokey Slate ink. Finally I stamped the sentiment and the last dress in Real Red classic ink.  The 'Hello You' thinlits were used to cut the "you" out of Real Red card stock.Very subtle and hard to see on the photo are the three tiniest pearls I added for a necklace on the lady in red.
Hope you love the simplicity as much as I do. Click on the icon below to get everything you need for this project...except the Beautiful You stamp set which will not be available until January 4th. WAIT!! YOU could already HAVE this stamp set if you were a demonstrator! Why not JOIN MY TEAM?? Send me an email if interested at judyghome@suddenlink.net
Happy Stampin'!
