Stampers Dozen Blog Hop - A New Year

Hello Stampers!
THANK YOU for hopping along with us this month! I know you are busy, busy preparing for the upcoming Holidays.  Whew! Time really got away from me this month.  I got an early Christmas gift...a new grandson!! Dash was born on 12-2-14 weighing in at 7# 6oz. Suffice it to say I had to make something quick, easy and gift worthy that would entice all of you...hee hee.
I am using two brand new products that, as a demonstrator,  I was able to pre-order out of the upcoming Occasions Catalog. WOW is all I can say!! Do you see those flowers?? I wish I could take credit for stamping the perfect garden however, this is NEW DESIGNER SERIES PAPER! All I had to do to complete this project (besides purchasing an 8"x8" frame from a local craft store) was cut the paper, stamp it in Blackberry Bliss with the sentiment from a new stamp set named "Hello Life" (available January 6th)   Metro Type Alphabet numbers were used to stamp the year in Rose Red.

What project is complete without bling?!? I had to add a Champagne glimmer paper butterfly punched with the Elegant Butterfly punch. Rhinestones were added to make the body. Finally, the designer series paper (cut at 7-1/8"sqare) was layered onto an 8" square piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock.

I finished this in time to post for this blog hop and to give to a dear friend for her "end of year" birthday! Love hitting two birds with one stone!

I hope you enjoyed this project. Be sure to check with your demonstrator about getting the new catalog. You are going to LOVE it!!
Now, it is time to hop along to Patty Chenail's blog. I am sure she has something spectacular for you.
