Stampers Dozen Blog Hop - Christmas in July

 Hello Stampers!
Welcome to our blog hop! This month, we are emulating the advertisers and are featuring "Christmas in July".  I have chosen to use the new stamp set on page 95, "Mistletoe Season" in conjunction with the Stamparatus (Pg. 207), to make this Christmas wreath.
Of course I had to use one of my favorite new embellishments - the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to add Christmas bling!

And, finally, you can see the three colors of ink I used to stamp the wreath. Call Me Clover, Shaded Spruce and Old Olive.  Thank you for hopping along on the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop!

Stampers Dozen Blog Hop - Punch Art

Hello Stampers!
Welcome to the December edition of the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop. Whether you are starting here or coming from Carol Payne's blog, I hope our group inspires you to try some punch art.  I have a granddaughter, Audrey, who loves cats so, this will be her Christmas card.

I used the Fox Builder punch to create the kitty and the Jolly Hat Builder punch to create the Santa hat.  I used glue dots to assemble my cat head, hat and beard. I used snips to cut the black belt and the tiny square of gold glimmer paper for his belt buckle. Although it looks like the belt goes through the buckle, it does not. I glued a tiny square of black card stock to the center of the glimmer square to give the illusion of it passing through the buckle. The body and tail are glued onto the Basic Black cardstock and the hat is then attached with dimensionals.
The Fox Builder punch is so very versatile!  I have seen it used to make many different critters! I have listed all the products needed to replicate this card...just in case there is a little one in your life who loves kitty cats! Simply click on the icon to go to my store to order.
Now it is time to hop on over to Rachel's blog to see what she has in store.
Happy Stampin'!
Judy

Merry Christmouse!

Hello Stampers!
Today's card is done with the Merry Mice stamp set. Isn't this guy just the cutest?!?  I also incorporated the pre-sale framelits: Stitched Shaped Framelits that will be in the 2017-18 Annual catalog coming to you in June 2017.  In an unprecedented move by Stampin' Up!, they are offering them FOR ONE MONTH ONLY, seven months ahead of the catalog debut.  Click on the icon below to get yours TODAY!  From what I have heard, they are going fast!

An up close view shows the gold Wink-of-Stells on the ornament and star that this little fella is holding.

Did you notice how the Stitched Shapes framelits coordinate with the Layering circles framelits?!? Have fun with these new framelits.
Happy Stampin'!
Judy
