·         Pool Party:                 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”
·         Vellum Cardstock:  2 ¾” x 2 ¾”

Instructions:
1.    Fold the Basic Black card base on score line and burnish with bone folder.  Place the large piece of Tip Top Taupe into the Petal Burst embossing folder and through the Big Shot . Adhere to front of card base with multipurpose glue. Set aside.
2.    Stamp the focal image, as shown, from Avant Garden with Tuxedo Black ink onto the Vellum Cardstock.  Use heat tool for fast drying. Only after the ink is completely dry, turn the stamped image over onto the Stampin’ Pierce Mat. On the back side, use the large end of the stylus to rub the flower petals hard enough to cause the vellum to turn white.  Apply glue dots on four corners and adhere to Pool Party square cardstock. Set aside.
3.    Hold the 4” x 3” Tip Top Taupe piece over the 3 ¾” x 2 ¾” Basic Black piece and, centered near the top, punch a 1 ¾” circle through both layers,. Then, center the 2” circle punch over the circle in the Tip Top Taupe piece only and punch the larger circle. (this creates the black inside border) Stamp the sentiment from Thoughts and Prayers toward the bottom of the Tip Top Taupe piece with Tuxedo Black Ink. Adhere these two pieces together with multipurpose glue carefully lining up the circle border.
4.    Glue dot or liquid glue the vellum/pool party piece behind the punched circles, lining up the focal point.  Adhere the 4 ¼” x 3 ¼” Basic Black to the back of the focal piece creating an equal border of black. Add a length of Pool Party ribbon tying a knot in the front.
5.    Hold the focal layer on top of the card base to determine placement of the 1” Basic Black strip. (You want the Pool Party ribbon to lay about center over the black strip) Adhere the black strip to the card front.
Finally, remove the paper from the dimensionals on the focal layer and adhere  to the center of the card front.
