More Single Layer Cards

Hi Stampers!
Today, I want to start by showing a standard A2 card designed by Loretta Howard. She used the Precious Butterflies stamp set and did some reverse masking and sponging to create the oval. She also sponged along the bottom of the INSIDE of the card so, when she she punched the border, it showed through to the front. I am guessing the colors used are Sahara Sand, Always Artichoke and Melon Mambo stamped onto Shimmery White card stock so it is shimmery. Beautifully simple card!

This Mixed Bunch bouquet of flowers card, designed by Liz Keehn, is done on Very Vanilla  card stock and is stamped in Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango and then, the final flower was embossed with Melon Mambo embossing powder to give dimension. The dazzlin' diamonds centers add glitz to this simple card.

And, finally, Carolin DeLaVega designed the following wedding card. It is a stretch to the single layer challenge but, technically, she used only one layer. It is perhaps hard to see in the photograph but, she used the Fine Flourish, single square background stamp and embossed it all over the card front. The ultra fine embossing has a very elegant, detailed look to it and adds so much to the card! She used the Movers and Shaper die to cut the hearts into the front of the card and popped up the punched out hearts on the inside of the card to show through. Lovely card that any bride would love to receive.

That is all for today! Take the challenge to do a single layer card and send me your design! I will make you "famous" on my blog! :-)
Happy Stampin'!
Judy
