Choo Choo!!

Hi Stampers!
My friend, Kim, was here tonight. We just finished making this ADORABLE (if I must say so myself) little train for her boss's son's birthday. We used Tempting Turquoise, Real Red and Basic Black card stock and the Box #2 die , cutting the tops off the boxes. After putting the boxes together, the wheels were attached. The wheels are with the 1-1/4" circle punch out of Real Red that are layered onto cardboard from the back of designer series paper. Then, we added the 3/4" circle punched out of black to each wheel, attaching with a silver brad. The train cars are linked together using the Word Window punch and silver brad.
Ahh...the coal car! I cut a 4" circle with my Circle Scissor Plus, cut it in half and then trimmed the ends to allow it to fit down inside the car. I drew a pencil line along the circle, showing myself what would be showing out the top of the car. Then, Kim attached Basic Black flowers punched with the flower trio punch. Below are a few more detailed photographs.

The Build-a-Bear conductor was SO much fun to add!! The "cabin" that he is in was made by cutting a 2-1/4" x 8-1/2 inch strip of Tempting Turquoise, scoring at about 3-1/2" from each end. Punch 1-3/4" circle and add Sweet Treat Cup. DO NOT take the film off the sticky ring of the cup! That stays intact and I adhered the cut from the inside using mini glue dots. Then, using my Circle Scissor Plus, I cut a ring out with a 1-3/4"+ nudge inside diameter and a 2-1/4" outside diameter. (Hopefully that makes sense) ENJOY! Let me know what you think...

Happy Stampin'!!
