Alternate use of Stamp

Hi Stampers!
Today's card is a CASE (copy and share everything) of a card byDebra Burgin that I found on her blog.
It uses the single stamp "Be My Valentine" (122045) found on page 43 of the Occasions Mini catalog which was stamped with Pretty in Pink and versamark and embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. On this card, the be my valentine is covered with ribbon and a sentiment from "You're A Gem" (122268) found on page 25 of the Occasions Mini catalog, was used. The crown is from "Artistic Etchings" (118517) found on page 125 of the Idea Book and Catalog and was embossed with silver embossing powder.

This is a 4.25" x 4.25" SQUARE card using a 4 x 4 piece of DSP. Because the USPS charges extra to mail a square card of any size, I punched the small heart in the lower LEFT corner of the envelope and then glued a 1+" of DSP into the envelope. (Put the glue or Snail adhesive on both sides of the DSP on the side that is fartherest away from the edge of the envelope) This adds a decoration to the outside of the envelope, "snugs up" the card inside the envelope and SAVES POSTAGE because now it can be sent for the $.44 since it is no longer a square. I love the win-win-win!
Happy Stampin'!

NEW STBS RISING STAR!

Hi Stampers!
Join me in congratulating PAULA NERSESIAN as the February RISING STAR of the SOUTH TEXAS BIG SHOTS!  This award is based on sales, recruiting, promotions and workshops. CONGRATULATIONS PAULA!
I will have to say that Paula was one of the most enthused award achievers EVER! Below are a couple more photos 1) When her name was called and 2) Her coronation. Enjoy...

We DO have such a good time!!

This month, the Royalty Pot winner received the wonderful "Word Play" stamp set!
To be entered into this drawing, one must hit "sweet spots", recruit and/or promote. Multiple entries are possible depending how many sweet spots are hit and how many recruits, promotions, etc. are done.
This month's winner is:
 MYOSHI AUBAIN!
Congrats!! And, enjoy your new stamp set!!

And, of course, we had our monthly card contest. With three entries, the winner is:

 NATASHA GOODE!
Unfortunately, all the detail is not captured on these photos. There are about a bajillion layers of white cardstock under that rose, each one punched with the scalloped border punch and incrementally smaller. Wonderful card, Natasha!

We had great demonstrators and fabulous demonstrations at this meeting as well as AWESOME food!  I always think the monthly meetings cannot get any better and then...Voila! they do!
A HUGE THANK YOU to my fabulous downline for participating in the monthly Group Gathering.  YOU are what make these meetings FUN!
Happy Stampin'!!
